Track of the Day: Tim Green - 'In Love'
Tim Green - 'In Love'
Tim Green's 2011 release 'In Love' is a beautifully smooth and slow grooving house track that came straight from the heart.According to his interview with Sloth Boogie the track was in fact an ode to his girlfriend at the time and intended to be released on or around her birthday. Without really realizing it, he had chosen that specific vocal sample because of it's wonderfully positive vibe and tone but coincidentally it became part of the larger vision of the project. The original vocal sample comes from 97' Billboard hit 'So In Love With You' by Duke, that also saw Full Intention give it a proper house rework. The music video to the original is too good to pass up on:Tim Green has established himself in the set lists of techno and house DJs across the world and continuous to produce ear catching tracks that major labels snatch up instantly. 2008 saw Green takes his career to the main stage with 2 incredible tracks, ‘Revox’ and ‘Mr Dry’, catching the ears of CVS and the Dirtybird family as well as German giant Traum's sub label Trapez. Over the course of the next few years he would follow up with tracks on labels such as Cocoon, Get Physical, Saved, and Four:Twenty. 'In Love' was the A-Side to his 2011 Release on Get Physical and received rave reviews alongside some awesome remixes by Robert Dietz and Audiofly. With a healthy discography already under his belt Tim Green has also set himself apart from the pack with some incredible live sets including this one from Robot Heart at Burning Man last year.Enjoy,MR PUZL
