Track of the Day: Shosho - Recel

It appears that it is finally time I started paying much closer attention to Shosho. The reason I say finally is that upon much closer inspection I have been collecting this extremely talented producers records since 2014. I don't have everything but the tally is around 20 or so different tracks. I go through so much music that sometimes some gold slips through the cracks. This little nugget however did not escape me. A two track EP containing two new Tech House bangers, "Recel" is off of his latest EP with Kinetika Records. It may sound funny to some of you but the thing that grabbed my attention initially on this track was the PVC pipe percussion. My ears are a total sucker for that sound. The part of the track that really keeps me interested though is the massive bass line with those subtle acid undertones. Add in a classic vocal sample (Full Metal Jacket/ 2 Live Crew, depends on how picky you wanna be) and you got yourself a full on late night floor filler. You will want to make sure to check out Simitli as well down below. It is a bit more on the driving side of tech house flirting with techno. There are actually quite a few releases from Shosho recently. I will put a few more of his recent ones below and make sure to dive deep into this catalog. You will be happy that you did.
