Today we have one from famed German producer and DJ &ME. This morning &ME released ‘Avalon EP’ on his home label of Keinemusik. The new EP’s B-Side is a track called ‘The Rapture’ and it offers us more of everything that we have come to love about &ME. ‘The Rapture’ leads in with powerful percussion and an interesting electronic stab but the tune really lets the vibes loose when the piano chords start to slowly fade in. As the piano piece builds in intensity over the subtle strings ‘The Rapture’ drops off into an epic and somber emotional state. A stunning and bittersweet piece! In 2004 &ME moved from Hamburg to Berlin where his acumen as a producer was quickly recognized by the likes of DJ T and DJ Hell. &ME eventually went on to link up with Rampa, Adam Port, David Mayer, Reznik, and Monja Gentschow (the crew’s artist) to form the music collective Keinemusik. Currently sitting at #33 on Beatport’s Deep House Artists chart, &ME has become nothing short of a behemoth in the house and playa tech space. ‘One on One’, his last EP to drop on Keinemusik, smashed the charts with the B-Side ‘Cape Coast’ having sat at #2 on Beatport’s Deep House chart for a couple of weeks last September and the A-Side ‘One on One feat.
