Today we have an inspiring remix from French DJ and producer Dust Yard. ‘Kobarey – Breaking My Boundaries (Dust Yard Remix)’, on the B-Side of Kobarey’s mid-June Lowless release ‘Confineless’, is a deep and emotive house track with just the right amount of attitude. The tight, precise percussion contrasts beautifully with the airy synth chords and the ambient echoes that are featured in the bridges. It conjures images of wandering through the fog in a dimly lit tunnel. Mysterious, soulful, and smooth. Florentin, a classically trained musician, started playing piano and guitar at a very early age and his years of experience certainly shine through in his productions. As a producer, Florentin has been pegged for releases by independent labels around the world including French label OSCIL8 Recordings, Hungarian label Stellar Fountain, and LA’s own 238W. Florentin also recently released a remix package of last year’s ‘Chorus EP’, released on Lowless, which features remixes from Dovim, Syn & Vlaskiu, and Monaberry artist CIOZ. Although Florentin is comparatively new to mixing, he has DJ’d in clubs in Madrid, England, and Denmark.
