Groove On - Three Bar

Jake sent a few of his track selects for this week over to us yesterday, and when we played this one out we were instantly hooked. This newcomer hails from London and has just kicked off his first EP "Groove On" in proper form with 3 incredible tracks. This self titled track really emphasizes a fantastic UK house sound that's really been building in popularity. A tight dub style vocal intro pushes nicely into a clean kick and snare rhythm that builds towards a wonderful set of bell synth stabs that progress nicely throughout the track. Elle - Sophie

Better known for his breakout track "Nothing More to Say" Sophie returns with a 2 track release "Bipp/Elle". Sophie test the limits of his audience with this strange quirky minimalistic tune that sounds like it came from a robotic synth machine deep in ocean. If you're up for it, definitely check out the vocal partner track to this "Belle" and decide for yourself whether this new direction is your cup of tea.Enjoy,LAMP
