Track of the Day feat. Tapesh, Dayne S and Full Intention

It's time to get that blood pumping and back into some sort of daily rhythm, and what better way to do that than with a Tapesh track backed by a solid house tune from Full Intention.

I've given my fair shout-outs and selects to Tapesh and his compatriot Dayne S this year and they never disappoint. This ode to Marvin Gaye is a wonderful nu-disco rendition of a old classic. This beautifully constructed rework of "Hear It Through the Grapevine" samples very small snippets of Gaye's voice, enough to respectfully hint at it's origins. Feel - Full Intention

Between the two of them Michael Gray and Jon Pearn have accomplished so much over 15 years. They have worked with powerhouse names such as The Jacksons, Whitney Houston, Jamiroquai, and of course their Grammy nominated remix of George Michael's Amazing. Predominantly know for their mastery in remixing, I was very excited an curious to hear this original and pleasantly surprised with the result. The grainy piano synth that kicks in around the 2 minute mark is fantastic and the foot stomping bass drives you right the way through the tune, leaving you a little out of breath on the dancefloor for sure.Enjoy,MR PUZL
