Track of the Day feat. Black Milk and Little Dragon

This week we welcome another LAMP family member to the #trackoftheday and #weeklymix series, Special Blend. I've personally known this cat for almost a decade and saw him spin some of my favorite hip hop sets in Boston. I'm very excited for what he has in store this week for us, and he'd kicking it off right with selects from Black Milk and one of my favorite Little Dragon tunes that dropped this year.

What It's Worth - Black Milk

This Detroit emcee and producer has collected an impressive selection of music working with collaborators such as Jack White and Danny Brown. "What It's Worth" really demonstrates how amazing Milk's flow can be and flexible his rhythm is, he covers a lot of ground and all within 4 mins.

Klapp Klapp - Little Dragon

I've been a fan of Little Dragon since they put out "Twice" and am so glad their music finally found its way into our #trackoftheday selects. This particular track has an amazing synth intro and the familiar voice of Nagano comes floating in to introduce a whirlwind of claps, snares, etc. that really translate to the songs title.
