Track of the Day: Dominik Eulberg & Essáy - Dream Machine

Today we have one from German born artists Dominik Eulberg and Essáy. A couple of days ago Eulberg released ‘Dream Machine’ on his home label of Traum. ‘Dream Machine’ is a one-tracker that Eulberg has been playing all year but only just released due to popular demand. ‘Dream Machine’ is a warm, friendly track with a lot of energy and personality. Essáy’s flute piece is a welcome change of pace to your standard synth dominated club fare. It helps to project that natural environment that Eulberg has been chasing. I never realized that Eulberg was such a naturalist until I did a little more research on him for this post. With that in mind the theme behind his music makes a lot more sense. His work tends to use a wide range of sounds to build a fully immersive soundscape. A great example of this is Eulberg’s recent EP ‘Falkenauge, Katzengold & Taubenblut’, out last year on Traum Schallplatten. Eulberg puts this concept to work by crafting three tracks, each named after an animal and expressing their own take on Eulberg’s auditory vision of nature. As a producer Eulberg has seen a lot of success. While he primarily calls Traum his home, Eulberg has also released on some of the biggest labels in the scene including Cocoon and Herzblut.Thanks again to everyone who worked so hard on the PUZL One Year on Saturday!
