Atlas Boda delivers a heart pounding 4 minutes of gritty bass lines synths and thumping drum patterns with 'Bandwagon' leaving the feint of heart to swiftly reconsider their aspirations getting behind the decks. We can clearly tell Atlas Boda is having some fun at the expense of the fast growing trend. A computer like voice repetitiously declares that its best friend and family members all want to become DJs, truly a nightmare in and of itself. To add to the effect, Atlas Boda crafts a wonderfully dark bass line that reverberates under the driving force of his drums and percussion ensemble delivering a swift kick to the proverbial ribs. The name speaks for itself and clearly challenges the status quo of overpaid "DJs" with rich party friends, a shite playlist and the prowess of your most musically inept relative.This week we have a very special set of #trackoftheday selections building up to our 2 Year Anniversary. To kick things off we have a double announcement in the addition of a new member to LAMP, Atlas Boda and the premiere of his new track 'Bandwagon' on our label. We're very excited to have this young, talented producer join the ranks and look forward to more releases from him in the coming year.Atlas Boda joins the LAMP roster as our first international artist hailing form Liverpool in the United Kingdom. The 22 year old producer has already established himself as a rising talent releasing 'Throne' and 'Room 205' two dance floor hits uniquely different yet an underlying sound through the bass lines has the producer mark. Dark is the color in which Atlas Boda paints his sound. His inspirations are drawn from the low end sounds of traditional UK Drum and Bass to the uptempo grittiness of dubstep. After experimenting with a variety of genres, Atlas Boda has landed neatly in a realm where deep house is dimly lit and all creatures of the night are welcome to lend an ear.
