LAMP Premiere: Rudosa - Nature Of Consciousness [Moments In Time]
Hello LAMP Fam!! Premiere time again. Today we have Manchester producer Rudosa with a new one from his label Moments In Time. The EP titled Impetuous is a three tracker that includes the title track along with, The Last Act, and our premiere for today Nature Of Consciousness. Moments In Time is a relatively new label started late last year by Rudosa and this will be the third album released by the label. Providing a new outlet for the artist and specializing in intense and mesmerizing techno that is taking the world over at the moment. The album will be available this Friday the 30th of October across all platforms digital.
I first came across Rudosa with one of his releases for another Manchester based label We Are The Brave. He has since had releases on some of my other favorites Suara, Terminal M, as well as others. His style is hard, driving, drum laden techno will move its way through every inch of your techno loving soul. Nature Of Consciousness is just that. It does not hold back for the faint of heart. A massive kick coupled with a multitude of other percussive elements drive hard from the opening bar. There is no respite as the further into the track we get the more massive it becomes. A growling synth line underlying a sharp arp synth that pierces through the high frequency spectrum brings the track full circle. We are absolutely loving this track and super excited to share it with you today. Make sure to keep an eye out for it this Friday. Below we have all the info you will need to stay on top of it. Moments In Time is a new Manchester based label run by Mark Bradbury aka Rudosa who kicked off the labels first release ‘Obsolescence’ in 2019. A 3-track release compromising of hammering drums, intensity and clever synth work. The release and label mark a supported change into a linear, darker and harder style of techno for the young producer.
Support for new talent is something essential to Mark and the label – MIT002, a 5 track VA saw uncompromising techno from Gijensu and exciting new French talent Blicz, who’s had key support for his releases from Amelie Lens.
Rudosa is stepping up for the third release ‘Impetuous’ this October, with a 3-tracker. The title track is jacking with a 90s club energy to it and a pumping rhythm. ‘Nature Of Consciousness’ is the broody track of the release with ominous undertones and an unnerving arp line. Trippy trance influences alongside some punchy drums make up ‘The Last Act’.
