Track of the Day: Ole Biege & Martin Waslewski – Reilstreet
Happy Monday! Today we have one from one of my favorite collaborative projects: Martin Waslewski and Ole Biege. Last week Waslewski and Biege released a beautiful one-tracker called ‘Reilstreet’ on Exploited Ghetto and it has already proven to be a huge tune. In just the span of a week ‘Reilstreet’ has shot up to #6 on Beatport’s Deep House chart and #33 on the Top All Genre 100. ‘Reilstreet’ features bright piano chords, a low droning bass, and a subtle vocal sample that adds just that little bit of soul that brings the track up to that next level. Another fun and stunning track from a pair of spectacular musicians!
Neither Martin Waslewski nor Ole Biege are strangers to the LAMP blog. Last year we featured Waslewski’s banger ‘Jack In Town’ for Defected Records and Ole Biege’s ‘Desmond’ produced alongside Ron Flatter for Pour La Vie. As individual producers both artists have been busy over the last year. Waslewski dropped his hugely successful ‘Smokey EP’ last year on Mother Recordings while Ole Biege recently released a quirky little one-tracker for Get Pysical called ‘Justus’. Waslewski and Biege have collaborated on several projects in the past as well having released the groovy ‘Odsbodkins EP’ on Monaberry and ‘Fiddler’ for Hommage.
Thanks again to everyone that made it out to one of our artists’ shows this weekend. Alex and Josh tore it up at The Reserve and I heard Josh brought another vicious set to Charlie out at Boogaloo!
