Track of the Day: PAWSA - Hot

When it comes down to finding some soulful, and sexy house music with an edge of nastiness to it a go to label for me is Lost Records. PAWSA is one of the regulars for Lost and had one of his first EP's with the label back in 2014. Over the last few years he has made quite the impression and quickly become one to look out for in the booming house scene across the world. He made a huge impact this past summer in Ibiza in that it was rare I came across a top DJ's list from Ibiza last summer that didn't have PAWSA on it and several top DJ's chose PAWSA as one they were most looking forward to catching while on the island. For his latest track with Lost he has gotten together with label founders Leftwing & Kody as well as Max Chapman to bring three new originals, one from each of them. Our track of the day "Hot" is rumbling tech house tune that plays with a classic house vocal (I am having a terrible time trying to place where the sample came from) while serving up a nice meaty bass line. It has a nice smooth feel to it as each of the phrases seamlessly blend into each other with subtle ebb and flow to the track. With just a few years under his belt I am sure we are just hearing the beginning of what PAWSA has up his sleeve.
