‘Finally’ by West K. and Saccao
West K. and Saccao deliver a deep disco house rework on a classic dance tune with ‘Finally’ out now on Milk & Sugar Recordings. This tune really has it all from properly re-recorded vocals featuring Bulgarian native DIVA Vocal (aka Neviana Tzvetkova) to low rumbling bass lines that add a darker twist to the original pop hit. Nu-Disco seems to be the operative word or rather genre that encapsulates a lot of the productions that are revisiting the classics spanning from the late 60s to the early 90s. In this case ‘Finally’ explores the 1991 hit by Ce Ce Peniston with resounding success introducing an entire new layer of synths and vocal loops woven into samples from Ce Ce’s original voice. With out a doubt this track is a staple for any deep house set that needs to get the crowd into another gear.
Saccao hails from the Greece and has certainly made his mark over the last 5+ years releasing on labels such as Toolroom Records, Bunny Tiger, LouLou Records, Alola, Circle Music, Milk & Sugar, Hotfingers Records, Armada Music, Pacha Recordings, Great Stuff, Tobus Limited, and plenty more. He’s also gotten involved in a variety of collaborations with the likes of Wild Culture, CASSIMM, Chemical Surf, and large collection of eastern European producers. Without directly knowing him we can certainly assume that he’s a fun guy to work with and takes a look at the bigger picture of his career and those he surrounds himself with.
As for West K we know little about the Parisian producer but he seems to be following a similar path to Saccao with releases on similar labels and has caught the attention of Sharam Jey specifically with a collaboration also released with the last month called ‘Stay’. Watch out for this fast rising artist as he dominates the Nu-Disco charts.
