Track of the Day: Saccao & Alceen - Your Love (Original Mix / Piemont Remix)

This week saw us welcoming one of the newest members of the LAMP family, Jamie Prado to our weekly mix series for the first time. With such a strong track selection in his mix there were plenty of options to choose from for our track of the day feature. Ultimately I decided to go with this little gem from Milk and Sugar Recordings. Put forth originally by Saccao & Alceen. Piemont, a duo that has been popping up on my radar a bunch these past few years took a crack at remixing this classic house floor filler. Trading the pounding piano chords for stabbing synth lines and ethereal pads Piemonts remix takes the track into more of the tech house genre while still maintaining a bit of that classic feel of the original. Delivering a peak hour jam that is certain to build up the energy on dancefloors across the land from Berlin to LA. Been a huge fan of Saccao as well lately and his original along with Alceen is not to be missed either. Check it out below.Seems like we have been talking quite a bit about the music that is coming out of Germany these days. If you are making or listening to techno you are probably aware of the mass migration that has been taking place among producer and the like to the great city of Berlin. Today's artists Piemont are also from Germany and have been making a serious mark on the electronic music and dance scene with their incredible productions over these last few years. Having been producing together since 2007, Frederic and Chris just this year have been on a tear with releases on Materialism, Lapsus, Tulipa, Kitt Ball, Glasgow Underground, and thats just this year. In previous years their music has gone out on some other massive labels as well like Exploited and Toolroom. Their skill behind the decks is also apparent by their busy touring schedule which takes them across the globe to play alongside the best DJ's in the worlds biggest and best club venues. It is just a matter of time before this duo is a regular household name in the techno scene. I added a couple more tracks from them along with an incredible mix they put together for Lapsus music and Global Radio Ibiza.
