If you have been following the blog regularly (Thank YOU!!!) then you know that we have a special LAMP engagement this Friday at the Wilshire in Santa Monica feat. Plastic Plates. What you may not be aware of is that we have partnered up with our good friends that run the forward thinking music group degrade.LA. One of the major contributing members to that group is our buddy and someone who has had one of his tracks featured here before, Wilks. The rest of this week we will be featuring the selections that Wilks put together for a special guest mix he made to get you pumped for the degrade.LA take over of the front room at the Wilshire this Friday. So lets get started.Track of the Day -- My Nu Leng & Majora - Hip N Thighs (Kry Wolf Remix)The fun part about this week is I get to discover new music myself. I actually have some stuff from My Nu Leng and Kry Wolf but had never heard this particular track. I love this shit. Deep and dark 4 to the floor shit. Its not techno and its not house and its not tech house. It is a mixture of lots of different things. At its core its Techno but its softer and moves more like a house track. Any way I like it. Well played Mr. Wilks.So my man Wilks is in to that Deep Tech House Hip Hop shit, also referred to as G-house. This next track by FlexB is definitely along those same lines. I dont know much about this dude since he is from Brazil and his bio is in Portuguese. I could use google translate but that thing never actually works right. In the language of music though this dude is killing it. I could listen to this shit all day long.
