Track of the Day: Darius Syrossian - Made For Manchester (Alan Fitzpatrick Remix)

In a pretty techno mood today and came across this new one from Alan Fitzpatrick and Darius Syrossian. Just released on Fitzpatrick's label, We Are The Brave, "Made For Manchester" is a new one from the legend house producer Darius Syrossian. I absolutely love the original but the remixed version by Alan Fitzpatrick is going to be a track that will sit in my rekordbox rotation for the foreseeable future. Grabbing my attention from the very first kick with its perfect tone and filling my ears with bass. After settling in for a bit a nice little synth that meanders up and down the scale jumps in the mix lightening things up a little. Not long after Fitzpatrick drops a nasty, hollowed out sounding rave synth bass line, that transports me straight back to the 90's. There is also a great vocal sample "Join Hands" that I know I recognize but I cant quite place it. I love this track for its simplicity but also for the fact that is has such a classic feel to it. This is a track that I feel will carry through generations and still have the same impact on people who come across it 10 or 20 years from now as those that are hearing for the first time today. Fitzpatrick has been smashing dance-floors on the regular for quite sometime now so it comes as no surprise he has nailed it here again.
