Track of the Day: 2000 and One - Organic

Got a little techno for your humpday. The third track in my mix from this week, "Organic" is from one of the co-founders of 100% Pure Records, 2000 and One. Centered around a couple of different variations of vibrant organ and synth stabs, 2000 and One gradually introduces varying levels of percussion driven by a big round kick. This all coalesces into a fantastic groove that ebbs and flows through the entire track. One of those songs that just sort of pumps away and never lets up. Helping the listener get lost in the moment while taking them on a little six and a half minute journey.As I mentioned before 2000 and one aka Dylan Hermelijn is the one of the co founders of 100% Pure Records. Today he runs the label himself and it continues to be one of the leading techno labels if not the #1 go to when it comes to quality and variety, in the realm of house and techno. I personally make it a point whenever I see those iconic label covers with the vicious teeth to add it to my collection. I know it will be something I will enjoy listening to and potentially play out when I am on the decks. So many great artists have contributed to the ever growing catalog. So many that I cant even begin to include them all. Some of my favorites include; Carl Craig, Jay Lumen, Laurent Garnier, and Christian Varela.
