Track of the Day: 16 Bit Lolitas - Deep In My Soul

Tomorrow night at Sound we will be celebrating another year of my existence and I am excited and honored to be opening up the decks at Sound for two groups that I have great respect and admiration for, 16 Bit Lolitas and Eli & Fur. I thought it would be nice to share a track from 16 Bit Lolitas (a little throwback thursday if you will) that has been one of my favorites and very often finds its way into my set rotations. Im sure many of you will recognize this track as it finds its way into many DJ's sets and has for a while. Coincidentally this track was released almost 3 years to the day on Sept 15th 2014, so its like a little birthday celebration for the track as well. "Deep In My Soul" is one of those special tracks that doesn't need any flashy FX or tricks to get you completely hyped while still moving you gently through the song. The vocal which is is masterfully sampled and mixed into the track just right really helps build the energy up and down giving a perfect ebb and flow to the song. Every time I listen to this song I cant help myself from smiling a little and feeling just a little bit better no matter what is happening in my life.Here is a taste of some of their newer tracks for you to sample as well. Having been a big fan of theirs for sometime and always seeing them from the other side of the decks I am excited beyond words to be sharing a stage with these two amazing performers. Their partners in crime for the night and Co-Headliners Eli & Fur are absolutely fantastic as well.
