Track of the Day: Sascha Sonido - Fall Into The Sky

Today we have one from German producer Sascha Sonido. Earlier this month Sonido released his nine track magnum opus ‘The Next Level’ on David Keno’s Keno Records. This marks his second release on Keno Records with his first being ‘Riding High EP’, out earlier this year. On an album full of deep progressive house tunes ‘Fall Into The Sky’ shines above the rest. ‘Fall Into The Sky’ is a big track that succeeds in building a rich atmosphere. Sonido hits all of the key elements in this one with catchy synth runs, hypnotic horns, and those rumbling analog basses that we love so much. ‘Fall Into The Sky’ makes me feel dirty inside in all the right ways. Over the years Sonido has earned a name for himself through his attention to detail and a sixth sense for track selection. Sonido has been pegged for releases by some of the biggest labels in the scene including Steve Lawler’s Viva Music, Snatch, and Trentmuehle as well as many interesting boutique labels like Voltaire Music up in San Fransisco and Saeed Younan’s Younan Music. Sonido launched his own label, Straight Ahead Music, last year and it has seen releases from many industry leaders. Oxia, Russ Yallop, and Mark Jenkyns have all put tracks out with Straight Ahead. When artists of that caliber flock to your project you know that you are doing something right. Keep an eye on Sascha.
