MR PUZL x Caveman Sound - Exclusive LAMP Mix

This week were doing a special 6 part #trackoftheday to coincide with our latest exclusive mix drop on Caveman Sound. This afternoon we're featuring Oscar OZZ, another beauty by Dayne S, and my fav track off of the album "Friend of Mine" from DJ Dodger Stadium.

Sun (Oscar OZZ 2014 Edit) – Caribou

I first started listening Oscar OZZ when his cool remix of MS MR's Hurricane. This Berlin based producer has knack for picking some great tracks to remix, case in point this Caribou track "Sun", while also producing originals and managing his own label Lørdag Records. As his soundcloud states his mo is to mix tech house tracks with a disco vibe. This remix certainly has that stamped all over it. There's a nice high clapping rhythm to begin with, and seamles a cool slow soft synth melody builds until we get to some echoed vocal loops and the whole composition just comes to life.

Limit to your Love (Dayne S Remix) – James Blake

Being a big fan of James Blake and Dayne S, I was imeddiately drawn towards this remix. The lead in has a great tech house feel to it, and chorus loops are very carefully placed in the early stages of this build. After the first break we hear all of the pieces of this remix working together effortlessly carrying the listener right the way through the song.

One Who Lost – DJ Dodger Stadium

I've had the pleasure of seeing Jerome perform many times in the last few years, including our own 1 year anniversary event back in January. His revival of the DJ Dodger Stadium project with Samo Sound Boy has been really exciting. If you have yet I highly recommend getting their latest album "Friend of Mine"!Also I recommend checking out this great DJ Dodger Stadium video for "Love Songs":Enjoy,MR PUZL
