With a collaboration like this, how could I resist? ‘Lose Yourself’ is the third track on Pan-Pot’s latest release, ‘Solace EP’ and Fengler’s remix has already been a massive success having peaked at #34 on Beatport’s top 100 Techno Tracks. ‘Lose Yourself (Marcel Fengler Remix)’ is a high octane banger that is tailor made for an all-night warehouse party. As we would expect from a producer with Fengler’s expertise, the remix offers us a whole different take on Pan-Pot’s mix while maintaining the original elements. Where the original is a deep, dark house tune, the remix takes it a step further by adding a bit of that techno attitude that we love so much. Fengler has been in the game for over two decades at this point and has the resume to prove it. Over the years Fengler has risen to the top of the field as evidenced by the fact that he was one of the first residents of legendary German night club Berghain / Panorama Bar. In 2011 he started an imprint of his own, IMF (Index Marcel Fengler), which has seen heavy techno releases from Echoplex, the Zenker Brothers, and most recently Thomas Hessler. Fengler himself has released tracks on major labels including Ostgut Ton, Mote Evolver, and now Second State.
