Today we have a banging progressive house tune from San Francisco’s own Mark Slee. A couple months ago Proton Music released a third and final set of remixes for Navar’s ‘Ava Mea EP’ which included Slee’s rework of ‘Sacred Bali Spirit’. ‘Sacred Bali Spirit (Mark Slee’s Inner Voice Dub)’ is a tasty playa tech jam that is thick with ambiance. Slee utilizes echoes and whispers to create a dreamy soundscape that is sure to blow minds. Over the years Slee has become a staple of the west coast’s house music scene having opened for the likes of Lee Burridge, Matthew Dear, and Guy Gerber. Along with longtime collaborator Atish, Slee runs a record label called Manjumasi which has seen releases from some of our favorite artists including Tim Green, Nico Stojan, and Gab Rhome. The pair have also been known to perform as Manjumasi having dropped a legendary set on the Robot Heart bus back in 2013. As a solo artist Slee has released tracks on a host of labels including Looq Records, Submarine Vibes, and Cityfox.
