Track of the Day: Hex Cougar - 'Forever'

Finishing things up for the track of the day this Friday with 'Forever' by Hex Cougar which you can download for free. One of Get Shifty's own and a Los Angeles local Hex Cougar is set to have a breakout year in 2015. 'Forever' is his most recent release and it has been getting a lot of attention lately. Love the way this track starts out really soft with just the piano and vocal and sort of builds this huge wave of sound that comes crashing down with a series huge complex synth chords, some well timed percussion along with a few well placed FX. This song is all about the details and the producers attention to them. This might sound weird to some of you but the snaps in this track are some of the best sounding and perfectly placed snaps I've ever heard in a track. You know when a producer takes the time to pay attention to details like that more then likely the rest of the track has gotten the same attention and it shows not only with 'Forever' but with his other releases as well.
