Live Illegal - Wilks

Wilks is back with another stella production this time with a little something borrowed from the legend Mobb Deep. "Live Illegal" spins a very dark, haunted picture using some really great stretched out basslines and awesome clicks and claps. The high pitched sound near the beginning of the track has an erie feel to it that seems to possess your eardrums and wants to drag you into a twilight zone episode. Continuing his strong production output, Wilks will no doubt return soon with another playlist must have. I'm just glad I could drop this into my mix this week!

Be Mine - Endor

If you're on the hunt for some great R&B style House vocals, then look no further than Endor. Self-proclaimed plumber and professional body builder, we admire the humor that seems all to lost in artists bio's on Soundcloud. This track borrows vocals from the very popular line out of "Love's Gonna Get You" by Jocelyn Brown and it's done superbly well. The powerful and unexpected bassline drop in the song really brings a new word to deep, and feels like it draws inspiration from a lot of awesome UK bass that's coming out right now. This track was released by Rain Maker and available as Free Download so get on that, and don't miss his other treasure trove of DL's on Facebook.

Parrish - Squarehead

This track has UK House written all over it, and no surprise really as it's creator Squarehead (aka Oliver Ledger) hails from Sheffield. Rising through the ranks originally as DJ Ledger, Squarehead has certainly firmed his place among the rising stars in the UK. This track comes off the early 2014 EP release "Bats and Stuff" on Shabby Doll Records. The producer is a "jack of all trades" producing album artwork and recently starting his own imprint 5ANDSEVEN. In it's own words, this track has "A hypnotic looping whistle propels this pulsing tune through seven minutes of good party vibes."
