Track of the Day feat. Oliver $, Jimi Jules and Super Flu

LAMP-trackoftheday-mrpuzlIf you haven't heard the exciting news already Brooks and Millar dropped their latest track as an Exclusive Download on Do Androids Dance last Friday. Check out the track below and leave some messages on the track, I know they'd really appreciate it.I'm back again this week on #trackoftheday and #weeklymix duties while PZB is in Croatia. I've got a ton of great tracks for you this week starting off with an Oliver $ and Jimi Jules collaboration plus a sweet little tune by Monkey Safari remixed by Super Flu.

Pushing On - Oliver $, Jimi Jules

If you've ever wondered how to make cowbells sound dope in a track then listen to the opening sequence of this tune. Oliver $ collaborates with friend and Jazz House producer Jimi Jules on this nod to Chicago House. The track also features the English Soulful Jazz revival band, The Quantic Soul Orchestra along with "Frankie Knuckle" style bass lines and smooth piano chords. Check out the release on Defected's Beatport along with a really tight Dub version.

Watching the Starts (Super Flu's Watching Piano Remix)

Gotta give credit where's it due. I first heard this track on Graff's Chi Chi Mix a few months back (their entire mix is amazing btw) and fell in love with it immediately. There is a cool repetitive high bell synth nicely overlaid with some soft snares and a cool rolling drum sound. If you have the attention span or like to actually listen to tracks all the way through I highly recommend it for this one because there are some awesome piano progressions that filter in (hence the title).Enjoy,MR PUZL
