Track of the Day feat. Jay Shepheard, Saccao & CASSIMM and Dayne S

LAMP-trackoftheday-mrpuzlComing at you with 3 great tracks today from Jay Shepheard, Saccao & CASSIMM and one of my favorite producers Dayne S.

Won Ton Crystal - Jay Shepheard

Jay Shepheard started his music career as a drummer in high school, then transitioned to a career in music PR and is an alumni of the famed online music store Juno. Following a slew of well versed releases in 2008 Jay has built up his list of label affiliations ranging from the German/Polish label Pets Recordings to Compost Black, as well as forming his own imprint Retrofit. This particular track has been floating around my crates for a lot this year and I was glad that it found it's way into my mix this week. This track comes off of his High Way EP (I also recommend listening to the self titled track of it if you haven't already), and features some simple clean breaks and a nice analog sounding synth synth and cool echoing vocal chops and fun space invader type break before the second drop.

Django - Dayne S

I first started listening to Dayne S when I saw him as a featured collaborator on a hilariously awesome CUFF released track with Tapesh called "Basic Bitches Wear Them Shits" and am a huge fan of the AMINE EDGE crew (check out The Beatangers). This track gets my hear rate going every time I hear it. The chill whistle make for a cool intro, and after layer upon layer of rising slow building string synths an awesome funky bass kicks in and you're on your way.Now got get a bunch of FREE DOWNLOADS you leechers!

She's Got A Big Fat Mom - Saccao & CASSIM

To say Saccao has been busy would be an understatement. Taking one look at his list of label reps would make your head spin on top of the fact he's got 100+ tracks for you to dive into. This Greek born prodigy made is start in clubs at the ripe age of 14 and went on to release his first tracks at 18, and he hasn't stopped there. Not knowing him personally but it seems as though he has a knack for finding the right people to collaborate with, and this partnership with CASSIMM seems to be a very suitable match with the latter having much more of a nu-disco influence pairing well with the Saccao's deep house roots. I unfortunately know very little about CASSIMM, but definitely vibe with some of his remixes and this track is too good to pass up on. Yo may now commence with the "Yo mama!" jokes.Enjoy,MR PUZL
