LAMP Premiere: partywithray - Drank (ray flip)

Today we have a bangin’ new premiere from our mysterious friend partywithray. For today’s feature, Ray delivers a formidable flip of the iconic single “Swimming Pools (Drank)” by Kendrick Lamar. Rays Flip pitches down Lamar’s prolific performance for that deep and ominous vocal character that permeates throughout Ray’s tracks. Building upon the vibe, Ray replaces the original instrumentation with a heavy hitting deep house track of his own design. On top of his usual banging drums and bass, Ray elaborates on the melody with cinematic synth lines fondly reminiscent of early Justice or Deadmau5 records.
