Another 4th of July...another Maikol mix for my friends at LAMP! This annual tradition has become very special as it always ends up being a very influential time in my life every year. When I look back on my LAMP mixes they were all transformative moments in my life where I've been able to capture the milestones, and this one is no different. This time around I have quit my day job at UMG and bought a one way ticket out of LA after 8 years of providing good times for good people to hopefully continue doing so wherever I travel to next. This mix consists of the music discovered during and inspired by my first month away, which has been in Barcelona, influenced by DJ sets heard at Primavera Sound, Sonar, Offsonar, as well as sets from Melé and Theo Kottis b2b Ryan Elliott. I hope you enjoy and can be transported with me on my travels!
